I am a groundwater hydrologist mainly interested in sustainability of management practices in regards to groundwater quantity and groundwater quality. My research group uses a combination of field, laboratory, and modeling methods to estimate available groundwater quantities, investigate the fate and transport of reactive solutes in groundwater systems, explore transfer of water and solute mass in coupled groundwater-surface water systems, and estimate the impact of best-management practices on groundwater and surface water contamination. Through these projects, we have developed a number of modeling tools that are available for use.
